ABOUT SSC
The Sector Skills Council has a mandate under the NSQF to promote Skills development in the Building sector. Therefore, its aims are to develop, establish, standardize and sustain Industry Competency Frameworks, Skills Levels, Occupational Standards, and oversee the development and delivery of capacity, investment and skilling outcomes which shall meet or exceed Construction Industry (Building sector) expectations.
WHAT WE DO
To improve the productivity of workers, it is imperative to develop strategy or a program to achieve that. The SSC favours a strategy that entails generating standards (templates) for the following:

• Work Objectives
• Job Design
• Performance
• Materials management
• Materials management
• Sanitation
